In his own words….

I was born into a Christian family that took me to Church every week to hear about Jesus.  As a child, I knew about Jesus dying for my sins and I made a profession of faith.

I lived a selfish life until the age of 18, when I gave my heart to Jesus.  That night God gave me PEACE in my heart from the fear of future judgement. JOY in my heart by becoming a son of God and LOVE in my heart for my sinful self and all the people in this world.

Life verse:  Romans 15:13 – May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Doug and his wife Betty have been married for 57 years.  They have three children, Jeff, Karen and Helen along with 5 grandchildren, Camden, Bailey, Jason, Joshua and Joy.
